Senator Bob Casey Jr. publicly announced that in December he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He says “that I have an excellent prognosis” and that he plans to continue working in the Senate despite upcoming surgery and treatments.
His confidence suggest this is a less aggressive form of cancer — we can only hope.
Here’s to a swift and complete recovery, Senator.
